About

This project was an introduction to UX/UI as we

learned how to use programs such as Miro and Figma,

as well as their importance in the industry. Developing skills

in User Interface as we re-designed six pages of the

original website. Sievers Sports Medicine is a sports medicine

clinic led by Dr. Joel Sievers and his team of

passionate providers. They serve both their community

and parts of West Texas. Their main goal is to not only

make sports medicine more accessible, but contribute to

a positive healthy community.

Practice User Flow

This was a practice User Flow that introduced us to the website Miro and the importance of User Flows

and their use in UI. Although this user flow is not specific to any of my pages, it was used a visual warm

up to the continued active use of it throughout our learning in our class.

Design System

Wire Frames

I observed and studied the original website

and found that although it was a sports medicine

website it was quite in your face and with the amount

of pop-up actions and short-cuts, it could be quite

overstimulating for a user. The harsh reds against the

very contrasting black and white could also not be

as user friendly when it comes to those with visual

impairments.

I decided to create a layout that was not as

visually demanding and created simple shortcuts for

patients to click on without the hassle of endless

pop-ups for the same form/informational page.

Design Interface

After creating the wire frames, we moved onto

Create a free website with Framer, the website builder loved by startups, designers and agencies.
